I can’t wait to see it all finished and revealed later this week.
I’ve recently fallen in love with the clean finish look on mini quilts and while I haven’t tried the pillowcase method, I have been using the facing method and I love it! Speaking of which, I hope to be handsewing my facing down by tonight. Fingers crossed XXXX
JanetJBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03555603872823681712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5817194946265838621.post-70048797504427762642011-06-13T11:32:48.896-07:002011-06-13T11:32:48.896-07:00I love all your guesses about my challenge. However I could have done a facing, but that thought didn't occur to me before I started quilting. So we will see what happens.JBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03555603872823681712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5817194946265838621.post-35943405863985273162011-06-13T07:14:05.314-07:002011-06-13T07:14:05.314-07:00looks like a whole lotta fun!looks like a whole lotta fun!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13894271242581269003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5817194946265838621.post-16593604216242467592011-06-13T05:23:41.919-07:002011-06-13T05:23:41.919-07:00That's what makes this so much fun, it's a...That's what makes this so much fun, it's all about experimenting and trying something you might not have otherwise. My quilt ended up a bit too small so I need to go for a binding that will add a few milimeters!

I already asked on your private blog, but Im so curious why you quilted without the backing attached to the quilt.dutchcomforthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02986021480546345435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5817194946265838621.post-85166253866934193752011-06-13T05:11:41.531-07:002011-06-13T05:11:41.531-07:00That's two nearly finished, you and lisa and I...That's two nearly finished, you and lisa and I am just stitching, stitching, stitching. I am very jealous, but I'll be finished, by hook or by crook. Is the quilting thread variegated, or did you stop and rethread a million times? If it looks this good on the batting, then I know it will look spectacular on the front.Vicki Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08756936181545589388noreply@blogger.com
